Renewables energies are growing rapidly, representing one third of the growth in power generation. However, it is acknowledged that the transition from hydrocarbons to renewables needs to be coherently developed with a minimum dispatchable reserve capacity. Floating LNG is poised to procure key solutions for fast track temporary power projects spreading over the range 50 -2500 MW , to cover the transition period down to 2040-50, when Renewable solutions are fully developed.

Since 2006

Associated since 2006 to the development of offshore LNG terminals (FSRU and FLNG) with Technip, Genesis, EXMAR, and Wärtsilä, the Company also performed the sizing of LNG carriers and terminals to the benefit of LNG operators such as Gail or Gasol and facilitated the financing of LNG Projects with operators and lenders.

With an experience of nearly 20 years now, and a network of partners long established in the LNG industry, Marine LNG proposes support services in the development and the management of floating LNG projects, ranging from the initial feasibility studies, until the operations of the units, including the supervision of the engineering and site studies, Due Diligence, and the selection of EPC contractors.

For the evaluation of the operational and contractual scenarios, and the proper sizing of the units (Vessels & terminal facilities), Marine LNG developed specific modelling tools.

Consequently, for developers or operators who cannot rely on readily available resources for the development of their project, Marine LNG is in a position to propose initial development options, as well as a continuous & ad hoc assistance for the mobilization and the supervision of the partners or subcontractors of the project.
